A member of the editorial staff from February 2007 until the paper folded in July 2008, I was involved in virtually every facet of production. I managed a successful campaign for the current executive officers of Local 344 in West Allis, Wis. who ran for election under the name Common Sense Slate.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;My job primarily involved generating the message for the campaign. I drafted and designed campaign materials, mailers, position papers, informational handouts and flyers, making sure the Slate was equipped with a message that would win the vote.
